Charles Shultz

Charles “Wayne” Shultz, 73, loving husband to Cheryl (Cooksey) Shultz, passed away on Saturday October 5, 2019 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  He was born to the late Charlie D. and Mary Alice (Hines) Shultz in Hartford, Kentucky on April 19, 1946.   He is also preceded in death by siblings, Donald, Earl, Thomas Shultz, Alice Melton and brother-in-law, Tilbert Finn.

Wayne retired from International Harvester; he was a member of Conqueror Christian Church, and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

Besides his wife Cheryl, he is survived by children, Traci and Allen Martin along with grandchildren, Tranisha, Allen, Jr., Cameron, Kyrem, Charles, and Jahiema Martin.  He will also be missed by his brother, William G. Shultz (Juanita), his sister Loretta J. Finn with nieces and nephews, John Williams, Yolanda Self, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 am until time of service at the funeral home.
