Anna Brummett

Anna Delores Brummett, 85, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Sunday September 24, 2017.
She was a graduate of Kentucky Baptist Nursing School and worked at most of the hospitals in Louisville. Later, she changed careers and retired from the U. S. Postal Service. She was a proud Baptist and a member of West Broadway Baptist Church. After she retired she volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Senior Citizen East, and was a Sunday School Leader.
She is preceded in death by her dear parents George M, Sr. and Margaret (Bischoff) Anderson, daughter Sheila A. Broughton; son Richard T. Brummett and brother George M. Anderson, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet Masterson (Bruce), Susan Boals (Frank), sister Norma J. Anderson; grandchildren Geoff, Ben, Maltisha, Delores, Audrey, Bayleigh, and two great-grandchildren, Taylor, Grayson, along with niece, Donna Payton.
The family will celebrate Anna's life with a graveside service Friday at 10:30 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40216.
