Virginia Baumgart

Virginia Baumgart, 98, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on July 4, 2024. She was born to Daniel and Claudia Mae Taylor on January 3, 1926.

Virginia was a homemaker for most of her life taking care and loving her family which was one of her favorite things to do along with, gardening, drawing and painting, and drinking her coffee. Virginia was a member of the Louisville Girls High Alumni. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Anton Baumgart in 2012.

Virginia is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Plum (James) and Paula Clemons (Tom), her grandsons, Kyle Clemons and Cameron Clemons (Lindsey), she was also blessed with two beautiful twin great granddaughters, Ellie and Evelyn Clemons. 

Visitation will take place at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Celebration of life will take place at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West.
