Richard Dale Ingram, 69, went up to that malt shop in the sky on Friday August 30, 2024 at Baptist East Hospital. He was brought into this world in Louisville, KY on April 19, 1955 with a little help from Haskell (“Junie”) and Euedena (Pharris) Ingram. Richard was a retired Lab Technician and former Welder for L.G.& E. as well as a professional fan of the University of Louisville athletics. He was a man of few words, but when the Cardinals would lose, those few words mostly consisted of four letters. Richard was preceded in death by his Parents and his sister Sheila Ruez. He is survived by his best friend, and quite handsome only son, Brandon Ingram. Richard was obsessed with Star Trek, any show with Dick Wolf’s name on it, and all 217 Marvel movies. He was a collector of Tom Clancy novels, a massive fan of the Eagles, a secret professional wrestling nerd, and a loving grandfather of his two grandcats: Oliver and Maui. You could say he was a man who wore many hats in life; mainly ballcaps which currently occupy an entire small closet. Funeral Services will be held at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville KY 40216 on Sunday September 8, 2024. Visitation will be open to the public at 3:00-6:00 PM with a memorial service to follow immediately after the visitation concludes. He will be missed by all, but he will be especially missed by his son who could not have asked for a better dad.
