Mary Aichele

Mary Lee Aichele, 88, passed away on Thursday June 3, 2021 at U of L Health in Louisville.  She was born on March 12, 1933 in Louisville, one of 16 children of the late Herbert and Viola Wolz.   She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Sheppard (Merle), Karen Howell (Keith), son, Mike Heissler (Debbie), son in law, Mark, grandchildren, Todd (Amy), Jason (Laura), Adrianne, Stephanie (Grant), Joey (Tara), Kristen (Steven), Kyle, and Brian, great grandchildren, Reese, Grant, Audrey, Violet, Max, Madison, Zane and Joelle.   She is preceded in death by her husbands, Eugene and Kenneth, daughter, Sheila, and grandson Bradley.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 8, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens.  Donations can be made in her memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the American Lung Associations.
