Charlotte Bowman

Charlotte E. Bowman, 79, of New Albany, Indiana, died Friday, March 15, 2019 at Lincoln Healthcare in New Albany surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kentucky July 20, 1939 the daughter of the late Jesse Nicholas Ryan Cecil & Mary Bridgett Bartly Cecil. Charlotte was raised in the catholic faith. She had been a Fixer at Brown and Williamson for many years.

She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Linda Baker (Bob) and Roy Eugene Workman, sister, Agnes Laverne Hunt, grandchildren, Roy Workman Jr., Crystal Reagan, Joe Baker and Mary Baker, great grandchildren, Jacob, William, Andrew, R.J., Peyton, Ryland and Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Cliffie Cecil, Joe G. Cecil, Mary Jessie Tannihill, Catherine Doris Murriel Morrison, Mary Goldie Hoback, Margaret Ann Wick and Thomas D. Cecil.

A service celebrating Charlotte’s life will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be 4 to 8 Tuesday and 9:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family has kindly suggested memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Hospice Chapter of one’s choice.
